Validation Engineer

Your ‘day to day’
• Provide validation support related to qualification of manufacturing processes and equipment within a manufacturing facility, including process validation, equipment and instrument qualification, cleaning validation. Support Technology transfer processes.
• As the Validation Engineer you will also prepare and review the related documentation, participate in quality risk assessment and change management activities.
• Supporting and implementing the established validation approach. Accountable for the quality and robustness of validation program and procedure design
• Actively participate in Lean manufacturing activities in daily life.
• Work with Operations, Quality, Technical groups, and other site/network groups as required assisting with establishing business and compliance requirements of equipment and processes
• Plan and coordinate the validation/qualification work assigned
• Technical understanding of process and equipment to be qualified
• Analyze and evaluate production performance data.
• Perform the work in accordance to all the compliance requirements and in a safe manner
• Assist during audits to ensure compliance
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for change management process in the factory to ensure validated state of the manufacturing processes, methods and systems is maintained
Who we’re looking for
• University or Technical Institute Degree in Engineering
• Ideal candidate should have a substantial experience 1-3 years in Quality Assurance (QA) and validation of equipment, instruments, analytical methods in the tobacco, food or pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO, Guidance for Industry Process Validation: General Principles). Ideal candidate would be experienced in Validation requirements (CFR 211, ICH, Annex 15). Knowledge on Computerized Systems Validation (CSV) will be also considered a plus.
• Experience in production environment. Lean manufacturing background will be considered a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (World, Excel, Power Point)
• Fluent in both written and oral English

About the Papastratos Internship Program
We are already more than a year under this horrible pandemic situation, which has negatively affected everyone’s phycological and emotional wellbeing, and created major implications and consequences in the social life and the global economy.
We all recognize that one of the most heavily impacted groups, is the young generation, especially students and young graduates. They have seen their dreams suspended and their career opportunities significantly shrunk. In Papastratos we believe that it is leader’s role to bring back hope and trust to the future and accelerate the ‘new normal’ in the societies we are acting.
This is exactly our purpose with the 2021 Special Internship program. We want to support the professional and personal growth of the young generation, especially during this adverse period, by creating new opportunities and equipping them with valuable experiences and learnings.
To celebrate Papastratos 90th anniversary in Greece, we are offering 90 fully paid summer internships (July-September). During this experiential journey, all selected candidates will have the opportunity to follow essential development programs and in parallel to be exposed in real projects across all Functions such as in Sales, Marketing, Digital, Finance, IT, Manufacturing etc. All positions are based in Athens, except to Sales that are located also in Thessaloniki, Patra, Ioannina, Kozani, Kommotini , Seres , Larissa, Volos, Kalamata, Irakleio.
